We Love Technology, but . . .
E-Mail: We are happy to receive e-mails requesting appointments, and someone from our office will call you at the phone numbers you provide. If you send or receive email via the Internet it could potentially be intercepted. Therefore, if you send an e-mail please understand that it is not entirely confidential and may be intercepted by others. While this is unlikely to happen, it remains a possibility that we must make you aware of. You must make the decision as to whether this is acceptable to you. Unfortunately, at this time, we will not be responding by email to requests left at this site. In the future, we hope to be able to provide a more secure way of communicating electronically.
Cordless Phones and Cell Phones: If either party in a phone conversation is using a cordless phone or cell phone, that conversation should not be considered to be entirely confidential because it could potentially be intercepted by others. Similarly, if you retrieve a message someone has left on your voice mail system using either a cordless phone or cell phone, others may also hear the message. If this is a concern for you, and you wish to protect the confidentiality of your phone or voice mail communications, you should opt for use of a land-line.
Faxes: There may be errors in the transmission of faxed materials, for example, a fax could inadvertently be sent to the wrong number. If you send a fax to our office, please be careful to ensure the accuracy of the fax number in order to protect your confidentiality. We do not fax confidential client information. If there is a need for a communication on your behalf, please provide an address where information may be sent, and allow enough time for it to be transmitted via US Mail.
